CURRENTLY READING: Siege and Storm

     Hello fellows!

     I've finally started to read the sequel of Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. It seems that my weekend has been quite hectic due to a presentation I had today (it's over now, thank goodness!). Now that my project has been over and done with, (plus I lack homework), I get a chance to started reading. I finished Shadow and Bone on Saturday in the morning and have only started Siege and Storm now. Chapter 5 really has me hooked.

     Judging by the title of this post, I've obviously finished Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. After less than a week, I'VE COMPLETED READING IT. I know I shouldn't really be rejoicing about such a little accomplishment, but after all: NO ACCOMPLISHMENT IS TOO SMALL.

FINISHED: Spring Break Reads

     Hello fellows!

     Unfortunately, it's the week after Spring Break and our well-appreciated vacation is now over. I [obviously] didn't finish as many books as I had thoroughly-anticipated. 5 books have been checked off of my reading list (2 Wattpad books and 3 actual books).

CURRENTLY READING: Shadow and Bone

     Hello fellows!

     This post has appeared a tad bit late, due to my filled schedule but it is finally here as you see it. Obviously, I'm reading Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. A couple days ago, short after I started reading the book, I learned that the movie rights have been claimed (because there happens to be a difference between "claiming movie rights" and "making a movie") for Shadow and Bone by DreamWorks a couple months after the book was published. In 2012, the novel was released in June and the rights were picked up in September, only months after publication date. Of course, this news came around long ago in 2012, and as it is 2015 already, I wouldn't expect the movie anytime soon. View source here.

FINISHED: Cruel Beauty

     Hello fellows!

     It's a success! I finally finished Rosamund Hodge's book, Cruel Beauty. It was unique and I was very invested in it. I just never wanted it to end! CURSE YOU ROSAMUND HODGE FOR ENDING THE BOOK LIKE THAT! Oops, I guess I'll just save the rants for the actual review.

     Fortunately, it's Spring Break, which means there's more time to read, review and relax! Now, I've found the time needed to review a book (any book, really) so now it's A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall's turn to have a review.      I know it won't seem as much to you guys, but for me this is quite an achievement. I'VE HAD MY BLOG FOR A MONTH. Sad, really, how I think of a month-long blog as something to celebrate. Whatever, I'm Mia anyways. I'm weird like that. I guess I'll start off my post with: thank you so much for going on my blog. When I started this "project", I thought I would have only a couple of pageviews (half would have probably been from me). But you guys have proved me wrong.      As you can tell from my previous post, I recently finished The Winner's Crime, by Marie Rutkoski. As you can tell from the title, I'll be reviewing it.      Fortunately, I finally finished reading The Winner's Crime, released March 3, 2015. I received this book around late January/early February and yet it's taken me this long to complete it. Pitiful, I know. Anyways, let's not focus on the negatives, but on the positives. I actually finished the book, you guys! I started late at night on Wednesday and finished (also late at night) on Friday/today. Woohoo! Victory is ours!

I had pushed it aside because of school and other books. By the time I picked it up again (around a week ago), I was halfway through it and I knew that it was essential for me to be done with it soon.

With "picked up again", I mean that I've started reading this  book at the beginning of the year but just never got so invested in it that I finished it. Maybe it is because I've bought other books that I've been dying to read that I put aside this book or maybe because  my life had been so hectic I forgot about it. It's definitely not because it's boring.

FINISHED: Not In The Script, Let It Snow, A Little Something Different

     Today, I put dignity into saying I finished my reading goals for the week. First, Heir of Fire. And now, Not In The Script. Pat on the back, Mia! Great job! I finished Not In the Script yesterday and may I say, it truly captures the burden of having your life displayed for everybody to see. It was amazing, overall. Yesterday, I also started reading Let It Snow (finished it, too). I have yet to finish I Am Malala and Daughter of Smoke and Bone. To complete my goal of reading 4 books of the week, I also finished A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall. SUPER CUTE BOOK, TO THE MAX!
