CURRENTLY READING: Siege and Storm

     Hello fellows!

I've finally started to read the sequel of Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. It seems that my weekend has been quite hectic due to a presentation I had today (it's over now, thank goodness!). Now that my project has been over and done with, (plus I lack homework), I get a chance to started reading. I finished Shadow and Bone on Saturday in the morning and have only started Siege and Storm now. Chapter 5 really has me hooked.

If you haven't heard of Shadow and Bone or Siege and Storm, here's a little blurb about the books that I always have in my posts:

Title: Shadow and Bone
Author: Leigh Bardugo
Publisher: Henry Holt & Co.
Date Released: June 5, 2012
Number of Pages: 368
Summary:
Surrounded by enemies, the once-great nation of Ravka has been torn in two by the Shadow Fold, a swath of near impenetrable darkness crawling with monsters who feast on human flesh. Now its fate may rest on the shoulders of one lonely refugee.

Alina Starkov has never been good at anything. But when her regiment is attacked on the Fold and her best friend is brutally injured, Alina reveals a dormant power that saves his life—a power that could be the key to setting her war-ravaged country free. Wrenched from everything she knows, Alina is whisked away to the royal court to be trained as a member of the Grisha, the magical elite led by the mysterious Darkling.

Yet nothing in this lavish world is what it seems. With darkness looming and an entire kingdom depending on her untamed power, Alina will have to confront the secrets of the Grisha . . . and the secrets of her heart.

Shadow and Bone is the first installment in Leigh Bardugo's Grisha Trilogy.

You aren't moved by the summary yet? ARE YOU EVEN HUMAN? A fantasy world mixed with romance, magic, and plot twists? If you have yet to be invested into this series after reading the summary and my praise, make sure you go for a doctor's check-up.

That's all for my post, and remember: you should be a tree; they have awesome afterlives.
