MOVING OUT

     Hello fellows!

It's saddening for me to say this, but Book Loving By M. is moving.

I wasn't very satisfied with my work on this blog, and Blogger was a different blogosphere for me. A couple months before starting BLBM, I discovered Tumblr and was adjusted to its mechanics. Blogger was quite different and it wasn't as accessible for me as much as Tumblr was. I had the mobile app for Tumblr and used it quite frequently there. I didn't use my laptop as much because I just never had the time. Even with my Tumblr, the majority of my time was used via their mobile app.

I didn't find the mobile app for Blogger as easy as desktop. So I deleted the app and only posted from my laptop. But as summer progresses, I realize I use my iPod more than my laptop so I've decided to move my Blogger blog onto Tumblr. It will have the same content, if not then more. I've already uploaded all my book reviews from this blog onto xoxo Bookish Angel. It'll take quite a while to change all my Blogger-related accounts and other stuff linked with this blog so please bear with the change.

I hope to see you on Tumblr!

and for one last time,
That's all for my post, and remember: you should be a tree; they have awesome afterlives.

REVIEW: Red Queen

     Hello fellows!

I'll just skip straight to the point, THE BOOK WAS AMAZING AND YOU NEED TO READ IT.

REVIEW: Anna and the French Kiss, Lola and the Boy Next Door, Splintered, Unhinged

     Hello fellows!

It's almost the end of June and I'd really like to fit in another post before July comes. Featured in this post are my "reviews"  from back when I didn't know how many grammatical errors I could ever make all in one post  nor did I know how to edit my "reviews". As they are now standing on my blog here, they are not the actual reviews I have for these books. They're just some funny little things I thought I'd share with you guys.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Summer 2015

     Hello fellows!

Summer is here, and it's to stay (well until September, of course). I haven't done any recommendation posts yet on this blog, so I thought I should start now.

CURRENTLY READING: Week of June 14, 2015

     Hello fellows!

It's been yet again a long time since I last posted, but I guess graduating elementary school can be very overpowering. Here I am, and I come bearing the books I've been reading.

REVIEWS: The Book of Broken Hearts, Famous In Love

     Hello fellows!

It's been a month, I know. I'm super sorry because life is just hard right now. Anyways, let's not dwell on the past and acknowledge that I actually posted something in May, shall we? it may have been posted on one of the very last days of May, but whatever.

REVIEWS: Not In The Script, Let It Snow, Cruel Beauty

     Hello fellows!

It's been a while since I've been posting on this blog, but I have been active via Twitter, Goodreads and Tumblr. I've been trying to equally balance my life between reading, Twitter, Goodreads, Tumblr, homework and studying. Of course, the universe just had to bless me with horrible time management skills. Recently, my to-be-reviewed pile has been expanding and growing out of control. So what I proposed to myself in doing is making miniature reviews in one post to save time and effort. Here goes nothing.

REVIEW: The Truth About Jack

     Hello fellows!

A couple days ago, I finished The Truth About Jack by Jody Gehrman. Received by NetGalley, I read the book via the BlueFire Reader app on my iPod before its release date, which is April 14, 2015 (one day from now). A compelling read, I tell you.

REVIEW: Aimee and the Heartthrob

     Hello fellows!

I know, I know. I didn't post any updates about reading or finishing this book before, so why am I talking about it now? Last Thursday, I was checking my NetGalley reads for books to read and noticed that I have 2 books to read before their respective release dates (both on April 14, 2015). Aimee and the Heartthrob and The Truth About Jack are now my main literary priorities. I've already finished Aimee and the Heartthrob (which is why I'm reviewing it now) and I'm currently reading The Truth About Jack.

TALK: Shadow and Bone

     Hello fellows!

OMG, a review right after Mia said she would post it next week? Wow.

Here comes the "TALK" part of my review of Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. This is my first separate talk, aside from my Daughter of Smoke and Bone talk. I think my Daughter of Smoke and Bone talk has been exempted from this title because I initially had it posted in my Daughter of Smoke and Bone review post and I just parted those two now. Anyways, back-tracking to the actual topic of this, don't read any further than this if you haven't completed the damn book.

FINISHED: Siege and Storm

     Hello fellows!

I'VE FINISHED SIEGE AND STORM. After the storm has passed (metaphorically meaning my school projects), I've finally gotten the chance to regain some time made for reading. CELEBRATION!!!

TALK: Daughter of Smoke and Bone

     Hello fellows!

Today, I will introduce another new "segment" (I'm not very assured as to what to call it) on my blog. I realized that I shouldn't have a spoiler-free and spoiler-full reviews in the same posts. So, my solution was to have a separate post for each. The posts named "REVIEW" are the spoiler-free posts about the book and the posts named "TALK" are the spoiler-full posts about the book.

GOALS: NetGalley Books

     Hello fellows!

As opposed to my normal reading updates, this one is about my NetGalley shelf. In a handful of past posts, you've heard about my NetGalley account and its system. Today, I'll be listing all my approved reads and what books to expect next.

CURRENTLY READING: Siege and Storm

     Hello fellows!

I've finally started to read the sequel of Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. It seems that my weekend has been quite hectic due to a presentation I had today (it's over now, thank goodness!). Now that my project has been over and done with, (plus I lack homework), I get a chance to started reading. I finished Shadow and Bone on Saturday in the morning and have only started Siege and Storm now. Chapter 5 really has me hooked.

FINISHED: Shadow and Bone

     Hello fellows!

Judging by the title of this post, I've obviously finished Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. After less than a week, I'VE COMPLETED READING IT. I know I shouldn't really be rejoicing about such a little accomplishment, but after all: NO ACCOMPLISHMENT IS TOO SMALL.

FINISHED: Spring Break Reads

     Hello fellows!

Unfortunately, it's the week after Spring Break and our well-appreciated vacation is now over. I [obviously] didn't finish as many books as I had thoroughly-anticipated. 5 books have been checked off of my reading list (2 Wattpad books and 3 actual books).

CURRENTLY READING: Shadow and Bone

     Hello fellows!

This post has appeared a tad bit late, due to my filled schedule but it is finally here as you see it. Obviously, I'm reading Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. A couple days ago, short after I started reading the book, I learned that the movie rights have been claimed (because there happens to be a difference between "claiming movie rights" and "making a movie") for Shadow and Bone by DreamWorks a couple months after the book was published. In 2012, the novel was released in June and the rights were picked up in September, only months after publication date. Of course, this news came around long ago in 2012, and as it is 2015 already, I wouldn't expect the movie anytime soon. View source here.

FINISHED: Cruel Beauty

     Hello fellows!

It's a success! I finally finished Rosamund Hodge's book, Cruel Beauty. It was unique and I was very invested in it. I just never wanted it to end! CURSE YOU ROSAMUND HODGE FOR ENDING THE BOOK LIKE THAT! Oops, I guess I'll just save the rants for the actual review.

REVIEW: A Little Something Different

     Hello fellows!

Fortunately, it's Spring Break, which means there's more time to read, review and relax! Now, I've found the time needed to review a book (any book, really) so now it's A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall's turn to have a review. For this post, I'm going to be doing just a spoiler-free review, just because. So let's get started.

GOALS: Week of March 14, 2015

     Hello fellows!

I know it's not even the end of the week yet, but it's been quite a while since I've posted a weekly goals post.

MONTH OVERVIEW: February

     Hello fellows!

I know it won't seem as much to you guys, but for me this is quite an achievement. I'VE HAD MY BLOG FOR A MONTH. Sad, really, how I think of a month-long blog as something to celebrate. Whatever, I'm Mia anyways. I'm weird like that. I guess I'll start off my post with: thank you so much for going on my blog. When I started this "project", I thought I would have only a couple of pageviews (half would have probably been from me). But you guys have proved me wrong. I've gotten a supple amount of viewers and I would like to thank you guys for it. Thank you.

READING UPDATE: Week of March 7, 2015

     Hello fellows!

Coming from the name of this blog post, I guess I'm adding something new to the blog.

CURRENTLY READING: Week of March 7, 2015

     Hello fellows!

Sorry, I haven't been posting as much as I have when this blog was still anew but you know, life happens. Anyways, I would like to keep this post short and sweet (because I'm heading to Toronto in a couple hours). So let's get to the point.

REVIEW: The Winner's Crime

     Hello fellows!

As you can tell from my previous post, I recently finished The Winner's Crime, by Marie Rutkoski. As you can tell from the title, I'll be reviewing it. Differing from my other reviews, this post will be spoiler-free because it is yet to be sold at bookstores. I will keep it spoiler-free, unchanging when the book is actually released. To keep this intro short, let's get started.

Friday, February 27, 2015

FINISHED: The Winner's Crime

     Hello fellows!

Fortunately, I finally finished reading The Winner's Crime, released March 3, 2015. I received this book around late January/early February and yet it's taken me this long to complete it. Pitiful, I know. Anyways, let's not focus on the negatives, but on the positives. I actually finished the book, you guys! I started late at night on Wednesday and finished (also late at night) on Friday/today. Woohoo! Victory is ours!

CURRENTLY READING: The Winner's Crime

     Hello fellows!

The time has come for Marie Rutkoski's book, The Winner's Crime. Let's get started?

REVIEW: The Winner's Curse

     Hello fellows!

As you can probably tell from my recent post, I finished The Winner's Curse while as you can tell from the title of this post, I'm currently reviewing it.

FINISHED: The Winner's Curse

     Hello fellows!

Finally, the day has come for me to inform you guys that I finished The Winner's Curse, I got the ebook of it around late January but never got around into completing it. I had pushed it aside because of school and other books. By the time I picked it up again (around a week ago), I was halfway through it and I knew that it was essential for me to be done with it soon.

CURRENTLY READING: Days of Blood and Starlight

     Hello fellows!

After posting my first review, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, my natural bookish instinct was to commence my reading on the sequel, Days of Blood and Starlight.

RENAME: Book Love From M.

     Hello fellows!

You're probably wondering why the name of the blog you're looking at is quite different from the recent. Well, it's true. I've decided to change the name of my blog. From "Book Love From M." to "Book Loving By M."

REVIEW: Daughter of Smoke and Bone

     Hello fellows!

It's finally the day I'm going to post a book review. Wow.

FINISHED: Daughter of Smoke and Bone

     Hello fellows!

It's me again, and I'm here to inform you guys that I finally completed reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor (see post about it here).

CURRENTLY READING: The Winner's Curse

     Hello fellows!

Currently, I've picked up again The Winner's Curse, by Marie Rutkoski. With "picked up again", I mean that I've started reading this  book at the beginning of the year but just never got so invested in it that I finished it. Maybe it is because I've bought other books that I've been dying to read that I put aside this book or maybe because  my life had been so hectic I forgot about it. It's definitely not because it's boring.

CURRENTLY READING: Daughter of Smoke and Bone

     Hello fellows!

My post today will be about my currently reading for now; I will be publishing a "Reading Goals" post later today. As you can tell from my title, I am currently reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

FINISHED: Not In The Script, Let It Snow, A Little Something Different

     Hello fellows!

Today, I put dignity into saying I finished my reading goals for the week. First, Heir of Fire. And now, Not In The Script. Pat on the back, Mia! Great job! I finished Not In the Script yesterday and may I say, it truly captures the burden of having your life displayed for everybody to see. It was amazing, overall. Yesterday, I also started reading Let It Snow (finished it, too). I have yet to finish I Am Malala and Daughter of Smoke and Bone. To complete my goal of reading 4 books of the week, I also finished A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall. SUPER CUTE BOOK, TO THE MAX!

PRE-ORDER: The Fill-In Boyfriend

     Hello fellows!

Today, the focus point of this post is Kasie West's new book: The Fill-In Boyfriend. I have mentioned this book in my previous post, BOOKS 2015: Books I'm Excited For.

BOOKS 2015: Books I'm Excited For

     Hello fellows!

My post today will describe the books I have long-awaited since 2014, to be released 2015. 2015 is literally the year so many exciting new books are coming out and I'm ecstatic to go to the  bookstore and purchase them!

Monday, February 9, 2015

FINISHED: Heir Of Fire

     Hello fellows!

Yesterday, I recently finished reading Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas. IT WAS SO AWESOME THAT MY WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS MY FEELINGS TO ITS FULL EXTENT.

GUSHING GIRL: Signs Point to Yes

     Hello fellows!

In my most recent post, I did a book haul and it featured A Little Something Different *Goodreads here*. The author of this book is Sandy Hall and she has a new book coming out: SIGNS POINT TO YES. I am super excited about this book.

HAUL: Week of February 1, 2015

     Hello fellows!

My visit to my local bookstore has resulted in a success. All of these books are mineeeeee (except for Heir of Fire). So, let me rephrase that; all these books are in myyyyyyy possession (see, not as fun to pronounce).

GOALS: Week of February 1, 2015

     Hello fellows!

My daily post for today is my "Currently Reading" list for the first week of February.

BEFORE MY BLOG: Books

    Hello fellows!

Due to my stupidity, I started this book blog a month after New Year's. So, that means the books I've read since the beginning of the year won't be as fresh on my mind as the books I've been reading this week. Forgive me if some points of information are wrong on these reviews because I have short term memory when it comes to books. My only solution for this problem was to write down quotes and thoughts on some aspects of the book so I don't forget them.

WELCOME TO: Book Love From M.

     Hello fellows!

My name's Mia and I am a new book blogger.
